instruction manual for concrete jewellery

i am a concrete piece of jewellery. i am strong but sensitive. i’m very superficial and my appearance is important to me. my surface will change colour and acquire the odd scratch - because i am alive. i get darker, more shiny or more rough. it’s in my nature – they call it patina.

i am like no other. a unique piece. i was handmade so my colour tones vary from time to time. vent holes are a character trait. i love to be the centre of attention, please take me out and show me around.

i don’t like water much, so please take me off before you wash but don’t forget me by the sink. external pressure and falls from great heights are no friends of mine. i could break and our friendship would end too soon. i am really quite something. wear me with attitude and take care of me.
